The days in Truro on Cape Cod are slow and simple. We are guests of a summer season and that encourages deep, constructive breathing. Chores become pleasantries, hanging clothes on the line and weeding the garden becomes art. Smells envelope and forgive any tension; the lavender and the peppermint drown ill feeling.
